乳酸氧化酶（LOX）是一种黄素单核苷酸（FMN）依赖型酶，是α-羟酸氧化酶黄素酶（flavoenzyme）家族一员。
Application
来自绿色气球菌 的乳酸氧化酶已被用于：
- 作为培养基增补剂用于将胞外乳酸转化为丙酮酸
- 涂布在玻璃珠表面用于以推拉式喷头系统（push-pull nozzle system）进行单个细胞的乳酸电化学检测
- 涂布在多枝化金纳米颗粒（GNP）表面用于以纸基多路复用设备（multiplexed device）同时比色测定唾液中的乳酸
Biochem/physiol Actions
在FMN辅助因子存在的情况下，乳酸氧化酶（LOX）可催化乳酸氧化形成丙酮酸和过氧化氢。该酶通过测定反应中形成的过氧化氢，有助于间接测定L-乳酸。
Other Notes
