General description
A stable-labled internal standard suitable for quantitation of N-Desmethylmirtazapine levels in urine, serum, or plasma by LC/MS or GC/MS for forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, or urine drug testing. N-Desmethylmirtazapine is the major urinary metabolite of the tetracyclic antidepressant mirtazapine, marketed under the trade names Remeron®, Avanza, or Zispin for treatment of depression. The metabolite, also known as normirtazapine, is pharmacologically active.
