General description

Morphine is a very potent opiate analgesic drug used to relieve both acute and chronic severe pain. Sold under trade names including MS Contin®, Kadian®, Oramorph®, and Roxanol, morphine is also a commonly abused recreational drug due to its widespread availability and high potential for addiction. This certified analytical reference standard is suitable for a variety of GC/MS or LC/MS applications from pain prescription monitoring, clinical toxicology and urine drug testing to pharmaceutical research and forensic analysis.
