Application

Dihydroethidium has been used as a superoxide probe in bovine pulmonary artery endothelial cell (BPAEC). It has been used to check the in situ generation of ROS (reactive oxygen species).
Redox indicator. Blue fluorescence until oxidized to ethidium.
