Application

通过在四氯化碳中与二环己基碳二亚胺(DCC)反应,棕榈酸可用于制备棕榈酸酐。 它在300°C和17bar 氩气(5%H2)压力下,在4% wt Pd/C介孔催化剂存在下可发生脱氧反应。主要产物为脂肪链长的碳氢化合物,其碳含量比相应的酸少一个碳。
