General description

柠檬醛是橙花酫（3,7-二甲基-2,6-辛二烯醛的顺式异构体）和香叶醛（3,7-二甲基-2,6-辛二烯醛的反式异构体）的混合物。它具有抗菌活性和信息素作用，通常用于合成维生素A和紫罗兰酮。

柠檬醛是一种单萜醛，可在食品和化妆品工业中作为芳香成分。

Application

柠檬醛作为抗乳腺癌细胞系的抗肿瘤剂使用（MCF-7和MDA-MB-231）。
它具有解热作用，可通过向大鼠全身注射脂多糖(LPS)开展对应研究。
可与叠氮基三甲基硅烷发生1,3-偶极环加成反应，形成具有药理属性的1,2,3-三唑啉。
