还可用于合成：
- 通过2-苯乙烯基和2-(4-硝基苯基)异硫氰酸酯[2+2]环加成合成:1,3-噻唑烷衍生物。
- 1,3,5-恶二嗪-4-硫酮与苯甲酰异硫氰酸酯[4+2]环加成反应。
- 在芳香族(或异芳香族)羧酸存在下，通过与(N-异环氨基)三苯基磷烷反应，生成空间位阻的1,3,4-恶二唑衍生物。
肽合成羧基激活剂。
DCC已可用于制备钛酸盐纳米管-酞菁(TiONts-Pc)纳米复合材料 和和7-(叔-丁基二甲基硅基)氧)庚-2,4-二炔-1-丙酸酯。
