Application

18:1 PEG2000 PE has been used as a component of quantum dot (QD) solution. It has also been used in fusion assay to study the inter-bilayer and bilayer-substrate interactions.

Biochem/physiol Actions

1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine is a neutral lipid. It serves as a helper lipid for cationic liposomes. This product might be used for PEGylation (polyethylene glycol) of nanoparticles to increase in vivo stability. It also promotes efficient delivery.
