General description
Ras相关C3肉毒杆菌毒素底物1（UniProt：P63000；又称细胞迁移诱导基因5蛋白、Ras样蛋白TC25、p21-Rac1）在人体内由Rac1（又称TC25、MIG5）基因（基因ID：5879）编码。Rac1是一种与质膜相关的小GTP酶，在活性GTP结合状态和非活性GDP结合状态之间循环。在其活性状态下，它与多种效应蛋白结合以调节细胞反应。已经描述了通过选择性剪接产生的Rac1的两种同工型。Rac1b与Rac1a的不同之处在于，它含有额外的19个氨基酸，存在于乳腺和结直肠等多种肿瘤中。Rac1b的非GEF依赖性GDP/GTP交换迅速，GTP水解受损，后者由GTP酶激活蛋白部分恢复。它可以与PAK的GTP酶结合结构域结合，但不能以GTP依赖性方式与全长PAK结合，这表明插入并不能完全消除效应子的相互作用。同工型B主要从皮肤和肠道上皮组织中鉴定出来。在肿瘤进展的不同阶段，与各自的邻近组织相比，它在结直肠肿瘤中的表达升高。

Application
RAC1b抗体（货号09-271）是一种兔多克隆抗体，可检测Ras相关的C3肉毒杆菌毒素底物1（Rac1b），经测试可用于免疫细胞化学、免疫组化（石蜡切片）和蛋白质印迹。
免疫细胞化学分析：代表性批次的1:500稀释液在HeLa、A431、HUVEC和NIH/3T3细胞中检测到Rac1b。
