General description

An L-type Ca²⁺ channel blocker. Enhances memory in old or brain-damaged animals. Ameliorates experimental diabetic neuropathy in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Also reported to block TNF-α and LPS-induced iNOS activity (IC₅₀ = 36 pM) in mouse astroglial cells.

Preparation Note
