General description

一种抗肿瘤药物，在多种造血和实体瘤细胞系中表现出强大的分化能力。作为肿瘤细胞抑制和分化以及过氧化物酶体增殖的诱导剂。一种比其结构类似物（包括2-和3-苯基丁酸）更有效的组蛋白去乙酰化酶抑制剂和组蛋白乙酰化诱导剂。作为转录调节剂，通过减少上皮细胞中HSC70的表达，提高δF508-CFTR（囊性纤维化跨膜调节器）泛素化和降解的靶向性。此外，据报道，在体外和体内增加胎儿血红蛋白的产生。
