General description

纤连蛋白（FN）参与许多细胞过程，包括组织修复、胚胎发生、血液凝结和细胞迁移/粘附。纤连蛋白存在两种主要形式：1）作为一种不溶性糖蛋白二聚体，在细胞外基质（ECM）中起连接作用，和；2）作为一种可溶性二硫化物二聚体，存在于血浆（血浆 FN）中。血浆形式是由肝细胞合成的，而 ECM 形式是由成纤维细胞、软骨细胞、内皮细胞、巨噬细胞以及某些上皮细胞合成的。
