使用经验证可用于ELISA、IH（P）& WB的该抗IV型胶原蛋白α 2链抗体（克隆23IIC3）检测IIV型胶原蛋白α 2链。
免疫组化：丙酮固定、冷冻组织建议采用1：500。 在1%胰蛋白酶处理（20分钟，室温）后，在福尔马林固定的石蜡切片（1：100）上有微弱的反应性。 或者，4% PFA 固定、HEIR处理的组织在1：200稀释度下对猴有效（Qin, 2003）。
蛋白质印迹：1：500， 170 kDa.
