General description
观测分子量〜51 kDa。 在某些裂解物中可能观察到约100 kDa的条带，可能是该蛋白的同型二聚体。
鸟氨酸脱羧酶（ODC1）是多胺合成中的第一个酶，是正常生长所必需的，并且在许多类型的癌症中都会增加。已显示ODC1抑制酵母中fmc1的缺失并恢复健康的呼吸生长。ODC1可能在促进肝细胞DNA合成中发挥作用。
