General description
Millicell®悬挂式细胞培养小室配备聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯（PET）膜，特别适合各种细胞类型的生长和分化。这种独立灭菌和包装的培养小室具有3.0 μm膜孔径，适合大多数12孔塑料组织培养板。
在塑料组织培养板中，细胞只能从顶侧接触培养基，但是在Millicell®组织培养小室中，细胞可以从顶侧和底侧接触培养基。结果使细胞生长、结构和功能更能模拟体内的情形。
培养小室的法兰设计使其悬浮在培养板孔内部，并且可以接触细胞单层的两侧。 三个突起臂（protruding arm）之间的空间有助于培养小室外侧和培养板孔之间的移液。
