General description
磺胺甲恶唑是一种抑菌抗生素，用于治疗人类的球虫病、腹泻和胃肠炎，也是一种已知的兽药。磺胺甲恶唑与甲氧苄啶合用可有效治疗感染性肺炎。磺胺甲恶唑通过阻断叶酸代谢，产生协同抗菌活性起作用。
