硫脲是含硫的尿素类似物。
Application
硫脲可用于：
- 作为蛋白质分析用冰冷样品缓冲液的成分
- 用于提取可溶性细胞内蛋白的细胞内提取缓冲液
- 作为电泳缓冲液的成分
离液剂；强变性剂。增加蛋白质的溶解性和回收率
Biochem/physiol Actions
硫脲是过氧化物自由基的自由基清除剂。研究显示它会抑制脂质过氧化和紫外线（UV）诱导的胶原蛋白交联。可用作生长刺激剂的硫脲能够抑制植物中的芽休眠。众所周知它可用于治疗甲状腺功能亢进症。
