Application
硫酸镁（MgSO4）已用作M63细菌基本培养基中的培养基补充剂。
无水MgSO4在3，6-双（3，4′-二己基-2，2′-联噻吩-5-基）-1，2，4，5-四嗪和有机分子的合成中起干燥的作用，有机分子具有A-D-A（D=供体，a=受体）结构。
它可以在催化硫酸的存在下，通过使羧酸或醇与叔丁醇反应，在叔丁酯和醚的合成中用作附加试剂。
