General description

硼酸是一种弱单碱路易斯酸（电子对受体），广泛用于玻璃制造、阻燃剂、润滑剂、缓冲剂和中子吸收剂。

Application

硼酸可作为催化剂来合成：
  • 通过肉桂酸与苯胺的酰胺化反应制备 N-取代肉桂酰胺。
  • 以甘油为助催化剂，通过环氧化物与芳香胺的区域选择性开环制备 β-氨基醇。
  • 通过硫醇到α, β-不饱和化合物的硫杂 Michael 加成制备有机硫化合物。
它也可用作活化剂，在硼氢化钠环境下通过醛和酮醇的无溶剂还原制备醇类。
