肽聚糖。是一种生物聚合物,是革兰氏阳性菌细胞壁的主要成分。肽聚糖由 N -乙酰基葡糖胺和 N -乙酰基胞壁酸交替单位的碳水化合物骨架组成,并被 D -和 L -氨基酸修饰。 N -乙酰胞壁酸残基与寡肽交联。末端肽为 D -丙氨酸,但其他氨基酸以 D -异构体存在。
Application
肽聚糖可用于裂解酶(如裂解酶)的活性评估。建议使用浓度为 0.15-3μ 的肽聚糖g/ml,溶于水或缓冲液,在 450 nm 处测定。肽聚糖不溶解,但在水中产生混悬液。
肽聚糖可激活 Toll 样受体 2 (TLR2),TLR2 存在于哺乳动物细胞中以刺激淋巴细胞。也可作为 Poly (I:C) 的拮抗剂发挥作用。
