General description
α-1-抗胰蛋白酶属于丝酶抑制蛋白家族,是一种活性很强的丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂。其关键作用是保护下呼吸道免受人白细胞弹性蛋白酶的水解破坏。AAT基因突变会降低血清中α-1-抗胰蛋白酶的浓度,从而增加患肺气肿的风险。α1-抗胰蛋白酶抗体(以1:9000稀释)可用作测定转基因表达水平的捕获抗体。它也可用于免疫电泳。兔抗α1-抗胰蛋白酶抗体可与人α1-抗胰蛋白酶发生特异性反应。
