General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
L-抗坏血酸缺乏与L-古洛糖酸-1,4-内酯氧化酶（GLO）酶缺乏有关。能引起抗氧化作用，并通过抗坏血酸自由基中间体氧化为脱氢抗坏血酸。L-抗坏血酸对于维持氧化还原平衡至关重要。是多巴胺-β羟化酶的辅酶，有利于T细胞增殖，保护免疫系统，缓解普通感冒症状。
抗坏血酸，也被称为维生素C，是一种六碳内酯，由植物和一些动物产生，但是人和其他灵长类无法产生。抗坏血酸是多种酶的辅酶，可用作单加氧酶和双加氧酶的电子公里。抗坏血酸没还是强大的抗氧化剂，特别是对于活性氧化簇很有效。
