General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
C反应蛋白(CRP)发挥关键的清除和代谢作用，还与防御机制有关。可通过结合含有磷酰胆碱(PC)的钙依赖性外源和自体分子，激活补体途径。它具有致病作用，可作为肝细胞癌(HCC)患者实用的预后指标。 CRP对于急性肾盂肾炎(pyelonephritis)的诊断价值高于下尿路感染，因此有助于区分上和下尿路感染。它被视为心血管疾病风险预测的最佳指标。
该抗体识别位于变性和还原 CRP 的 24 kDa 亚单位上的表位。与人血清淀粉样 P 成分 (SAP)、人结合珠蛋白、人 α1-酸性糖蛋白、人 IgG 和来自 鲎试剂的 CRP 不反应。
