General description

酪蛋白是存在于哺乳动物乳汁中的磷酸钙结合磷蛋白。它们占总牛乳汁的80%左右。牛奶由四种酪蛋白组成，如αs1-、αs2-、β-和κ酪蛋白。

Application

来源于牛奶的酪蛋白可用作普通培养基成分用于果蝇培养，用于制备αS1-酪蛋白(CAS1_Bovin) 作为试验饮食的氮源（N）。

Biochem/physiol Actions

许多实验应用包括用作免疫化学中的阻断剂、从 SDS 提取样本中回收酶活性以及作为蛋白酶和激酶测定的底物。
