General description

胰蛋白酶是一种胰腺丝氨酸内切蛋白酶。SOLu-胰蛋白酶由重组猪胰蛋白酶序列制备而成。它不具有糜蛋白酶活性（chymotryptic activity）。

Application

胰蛋白酶：

已用于消化凝胶碎片，进行活性去泛素化酶（ deubiquitnase，DUB）的质谱鉴定
已用于胰蛋白酶灵敏度测定
可用于消化葡萄酒蛋白质

Biochem/physiol Actions

由于胰蛋白酶具有高度特异性裂解能力，胰蛋白酶肽数量有限，因此胰蛋白酶通常用于蛋白质组学研究中的肽定位和蛋白质序列研究。它可特异性地水解精氨酸和赖氨酸残基羧基侧的肽键。
