General description
瓜尔豆从瓜尔豆种子中提取而来。它包括半乳甘露聚糖的多糖。瓜尔豆用于染料溶液增稠、纸张生产以及用作水基泥浆炸药的主要胶凝剂。它可用作纤维去絮凝剂和干强剂，还可用作炸药的阻水添加剂。瓜尔豆在食品中可用作稳定剂、乳化剂和增稠剂。它能够降低胆固醇和血糖水平。瓜尔豆有助于减肥和预防肥胖。
