Application

L-谷氨酰胺已作为培养基补充剂用于：

Iscove′s改良Dulbecco′s培养基中，以进行HeLa细胞培养

适用于细胞培养应用，尤其是无血清细胞培养。

Biochem/physiol Actions

谷氨酰胺通过细胞mTOR（雷帕霉素的哺乳动物靶标）信号转导介导蛋白质的周转。其还已报到可与细胞凋亡的抑制有关。

L-谷氨酰胺是一种必需氨基酸，作为细胞培养过程中主要的能量来源而成为培养基的重要组分。L-谷氨酰胺在干粉及冷冻溶液的状态下极为稳定。然而，L-谷氨酰胺在液体培养基或储存溶液中均会相对较快的降解。最佳的细胞表现通常需要在使用前向培养基中添加L-谷氨酰胺补充剂。

Preparation Note
