General description
明胶来源于胶原蛋白，是组织胞外基质(ECM)中含量最丰富的蛋白质。它是一种生物活性物质。明胶由基质金属蛋白酶(MMP)敏感的蛋白序列组成。
明胶存在于胶原蛋白中，是一种具有高平均分子量的水溶性蛋白质的异质性混合物。通过在水中将皮肤、肌腱、韧带、骨骼等进行煮沸来提取蛋白质。
Application
来自冷水鱼皮的明胶已用于：大鼠大脑切片免疫标记的孵育培养液(IM)，用作各种细胞蛋白质印迹的洗涤液组分；还用作HeLa细胞免疫荧光染色的阻断剂。
在免疫组化中用作封闭剂。
