Application
来自紫藤的凝集素已用于：
- 通过免疫荧光法研究小鼠脑外神经网和小白蛋白网
- 通过微孔板法评估N-乙酰半乳糖胺（GalNAc）转移到高斯荧光素酶（GLuc）底物的量
- 研究对周围神经网的结合作用
Biochem/physiol Actions
WFA不是血型特异性的，但对N-乙酰基-D- 半乳糖胺具有亲和力。
凝集素与多糖、糖脂和糖蛋白的聚糖具有高亲和力。它参与植物的防御反应。
