General description

木犀草素（3′,4′,5′,7′-四羟黄酮）是一种多酚化合物，属于黄酮类。木犀草素常见于芹菜、青椒和洋甘菊茶等植物中。木犀草素是存在于Hieracium pannosum Boiss的花提取物以及Dracocephalum kotschyi的地上部分中的主要黄酮类化合物之一，可促进植物的抗氧化能力。木犀草素具有抗氧化性和抗炎活性，并且主要通过细胞凋亡发挥抗肿瘤作用。木犀草素通过下调蛋白激酶B（Akt）途径引起半胱天冬酶介导的细胞凋亡，从而发挥其凋亡活性。木犀草素还能使癌细胞对治疗剂再次敏感。木犀草素可调节炎症基因，并减少一氧化氮和炎性细胞因子的产生。木犀草素的抗炎活性，使其成为阿尔茨海默病等神经退行性疾病的潜在治疗剂。在植物中，木犀草素可诱导结瘤蛋白F（nodF）基因表达。
