General description
微粒体甘油三酯转移蛋白（MTP），一种存在于肝脏中的膜结合蛋白，可在极低密度脂蛋白（VLDL）的组装和分泌中起到重要作用。MTP对于肠内乳糜微粒的组装和分泌也是必需的。该蛋白有助于甘油三酯（TG）、胆固醇酯（CE）和磷脂酰胆碱（PC）在磷脂表面之间的转移。 MTP基因中的突变可导致无β脂蛋白血症。
