General description

正缬氨酸(Norvaline)是一种非蛋白质α-氨基酸,又名DL-α-氨基戊酸。它产自大肠杆菌等革兰氏阴性菌,也是枯草芽孢杆菌所产抗真菌肽的组分。

Application

DL-正缬氨酸作为内部标准品,已用于:
  • 气相色谱-质谱法(GC-MS)分析哺乳动物培养细胞的代谢物
  • 将半胱氨酸和胱氨酸转化为Cys MPA(S-2-羧乙基硫代-L-半胱氨酸),并采用高效液相色谱(HPLC)分析仪进行定量分析

Biochem/physiol Actions

DL-戊氨酸是一种神经递质。
