Application

β-烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸（β-NAD）用于制备脱乙酰基微管蛋白。也用于口腔成纤维细胞裂解物 UDP-葡萄糖-6-氢化酶（UGDH）的酶活性测定。

Biochem/physiol Actions

β-烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸（β-NAD）是神经调节剂和抑制性神经递质，是嘌呤能（P2Y1）受体的激动剂。
β-烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸（NAD+）和 β-还原型烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸（NADH）包含辅酶氧化还原对（NAD + NADH），参与一系列酶催化氧化还原反应。 除了其氧化还原功能外，NAD +/NADH 是 ADP-核糖基转移酶（ADP-核糖基转移酶；聚（ADP-核糖）聚合酶）反应中的 ADP-核糖单元的供体，也是环状ADP-核糖（ADP-核糖基环化酶）的前体。
