General description

丙酮酸盐(pyruvate),糖酵解通路的终产物,是丙酮酸(pyruvic acid)的阴离子形式。

Application

丙酮酸钠可用于:
  • 作为精子培养Ca2+ + N三羟甲基甲胺基乙磺酸(TES)–NaCl溶液的补充剂
  • 作为TCM-199 hepes改良溶液的补充剂,用于卵丘卵母细胞复合体(COC′s)培养
  • 作为杜氏改良Eagle培养基(DMEM)补充剂,用于培养小鼠原代肝细胞(MPH),并用于腹腔注射禁食小鼠进行葡萄糖生成评估

Biochem/physiol Actions

丙酮酸钠主要用作培养基和肉汤组分。丙酮酸钠的抗氧化和抗炎作用可用于治疗过敏性鼻炎。丙酮酸钠还能用作乳酸中毒治疗的新药。
细胞将丙酮酸钠作为一种易于获取的碳水化合物来源。此外,它还参与氨基酸代谢并启动Kreb′循环。丙酮酸钠减弱体外氧化应激。 对于大多数细胞培养应用,应将100 mM溶液按1:100比例稀释。 该产品已被认证可用于小鼠胚胎培养。
