Biochem/physiol Actions
肿瘤坏死因子-α（TNF-α）影响脑损伤后的血脑屏障、炎症、血栓形成和血管变化等各种细胞过程。TNF-α 的表达在阿尔茨海默病、多发性硬化症、帕金森氏病、脑膜炎球菌性脑膜炎和 HIV 感染等各种中枢神经系统疾病中上调。脑和血液中 TNF-α 表达上调（响应脂多糖）可能会使得高血压大鼠的脑干血栓形成和出血以及中风敏感性/风险增加。肿瘤坏死因子-α 激活多形核白细胞 NADPH 氧化酶，从而促进大鼠全身性氧化应激（OS）、炎症和高血压的发生。
