General description
转铁蛋白(TF)是一种铁转运蛋白,存在于血浆和脑细胞外液。它属于铁结合糖蛋白家族。TF由含有两个结构域的单一多肽链组成,每个结构域包含一个铁结合位点。它有助于以可溶且无毒的形式在细胞之间转运铁(III)。TF也可作为抑菌剂和生长因子。它结合转铁蛋白受体以介导结合铁的细胞摄取。TF 基因定位于人染色体3q22.1。该试剂盒中提供的抗体对可识别人血清转铁蛋白。
