General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
丙酮酸激酶(PK) 是糖酵解途径中的关键酶。研究证明,人类癌细胞系中M2 同种型的敲低及其被 M1 同种型替代会导致 Warburg 效应的逆转,并降低在小鼠异种移植物中形成肿瘤的能力。M2 同种型Tyr105 处 的磷酸化会抑制其活性,并且在人类癌症中很常见,这表明 Tyr105 是癌细胞中促进肿瘤发生的关键代谢开关(metabolic switch)。
