Biochem/physiol Actions
在感染、组织损伤和炎症期间观察到INOS（诱导型一氧化氮合酶）的上调。INOS负责产生NO（一氧化氮），通过诱导血管舒张来控制血流。NO充当神经递质，可以促进免疫反应。NO还可以响应氧化应激、缺氧、炎性细胞因子（TNF-α，IL-1β，IFN-γ）和脂多糖内毒素而产生抗血栓形成和抗炎作用。iNOS比神经元和内皮NOS产生更多的NO。与这两种同工型不同，iNOS与钙无关。INOS可能与2型糖尿病有关。
