Biochem/physiol Actions
甲氧苄啶和磺胺甲恶唑结合，通过阻碍核苷酸合成，干扰细菌细胞叶酸细胞代谢。 甲氧苄啶和原核生物特异性二氢叶酸还原酶（DHFR）结合，抑制二氢叶酸（DHF）和四氢叶酸（THF）还原。THF是胸腺嘧啶合成途径基本前体，干扰该途径，抑制细菌DNA合成。
