General description

γ-微管蛋白（48kDa）是普遍存在且高度保守的蛋白，存在于真核细胞微管组织中心（MTOC）。它与 α-微管蛋白和 β-微管蛋白有关，是蛋白中微管蛋白超家族成员。 γ-微管蛋白的丰度不到 α-微管蛋白或 β-微管蛋白水平的1％。γ对各种生物体进行分析，γ-微管蛋白与 α-微管蛋白具有大约28％-32％的同源性，与 β-微管蛋白具有32%-36％的同源性。一些区域在 α-微管蛋白、 β-微管蛋白和 γ-微管蛋白之间高度保守。

Immunogen

对应人 γ-微管蛋白（氨基酸 38-53，C 端添加赖氨酸） N 端区域的合成肽与 KLH 结合。该序列对 γ-微管蛋白具有特异性，而对微管蛋白家族的其他成员如 α−β−, δ和 ε−微管蛋白。该序列在小鼠和大鼠的 γ-微管蛋白中相同，并在物种（果蝇、曲霉和酵母 γ-微管蛋白）中高度保留。

Biochem/physiol Actions
