Biochem/physiol Actions
酵母聚糖从酵母细胞壁制备，由蛋白质-碳水化合物复合体组成。可以用来诱导实验无菌性炎症。在巨噬细胞中，酵母聚糖诱导的应答包括诱导促炎细胞因子、花生四烯酸移动，蛋白磷酸化和肌醇磷酸形成。酵母聚糖A能够提高细胞周期蛋白D2水平，说明后者除增殖外还在巨噬细胞活化中起作用。酵母聚糖A能够加重注射半乳糖胺造成的急性肝脏损伤，表明除库普弗（Kupffer）细胞外，还有某些类型的非实质细胞参与酵母聚糖作用。酵母聚糖A（一种13β葡聚糖）能使有机粉尘引起的呼吸道疾病继续进展。
