General description

Famotidine is a hydrophilic, cationic, histamine H2 receptor antagonist drug that effectively inhibits gastric acid secretion in humans.
This product is provided as delivered and specified by the issuing Pharmacopoeia. Application

Famotidine can be used as a pharmaceutical primary standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by various analytical techniques.(10)
