槲皮素二水合物是具有抗癌活性的黄酮类化合物。槲皮素为线粒体 ATP 酶和磷酸二酯酶抑制剂。它可抑制 PI3 激酶活性并且轻微抑制 PIP 激酶活性。槲皮素对癌细胞系具有抗增殖作用，通过 II 型雌激素受体降低癌细胞的生长，并且阻滞细胞周期晚期 G1 相中人类白血病 T 细胞。
