Application

N-[3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ethylenediamine has also been used as an organic ligand for the surface modification of silica gel to uptake heavy metal ions. It can react with fluorinated carbon nanotubes (F-CNT) to form aminoalkylalkoxysilane functionalized carbon nanotubes.

Generating skeletal muscle in vitro is an attractive approach to overcome problems associated with autologous transfer of muscle and donor site morbidity during plastic surgery. Such tissue engineering requires application of biomaterials that selectively control the attachment, morphology, and proliferation
