General description
1-Ethyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is a 1-alkyl-1-methylppiperidinium-based ionic liquid. It is being investigated for its potential use as a battery electrolyte.
Application
1-ethyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl) imide in combination with 1-propyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide (PMII) forms a solid-state electrolyte with long-term stability, which can be used in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs).
