Application

In combination with Co(salophen), (Aldrich 345652), [Ru(phd)3](PF6)2 is utilized in the aerobic oxidation of tetrahydroquinolines at room temperature to form quinolines. Unlike previous catalyst systems, the reported application is highly efficient under the presence of atmospheric oxygen.
