Phosphatidic acid (PA) is a precursor of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) and is present in leafy vegetables.

Application

18:2 PA or 1,2-dilinoleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt) might be used in saposin-derived lipid nanoparticle (SapNP) formation and in vacuolar mimic lipid (VML) proteoliposomes used for content-mixing assays.
