Description

General description

Mouse monoclonal antibody purified by thiophilic adsorption and size exclusion chromatography. Recognizes the ~46 kDa GSK-3β phosphorylated at Ser⁹. Supplied with a control lysate derived from 2 x 10⁶ EGF-treated HepG2 cells.

This PhosphoDetect Anti-GSK3β (pSer⁹) Mouse mAb (2D3) is validated for use in ELISA, Immunoblotting for the detection of GSK3β (pSer⁹).

Physical form

100 µg antibody in PBS, PEG, sucrose, 50% glycerol and 200 µl lyophilized control lysate.

Preparation Note

Reconstitute the positive control lysate with 200 µl H₂O. Following complete solubilization, add 200 µl SDS-PAGE sample buffer and incubate at 90°C for 5 min.

Other Notes

For immunoblotting with the positive control, use 10 µl (chemiluminescence) or 20 µl (colorimetric) per mini-gel lane. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
