Gene Information

Immunogen
Highly pure (>98%) recombinant rat IL-1beta.
Application
Anti-Interleukin-1β Antibody is an antibody against Interleukin-1β for use in ELISA, WB, NEUT.
ELISA: 0.5 μg/mL this dilution will allow detection (in direct ELISA) of
0.2-0.4 ng/well when rat IL-1(is used to coat the plate.
Western blot: 0.1-0.2 μg/mL, this dilution should offer detection limit of 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Neutralization: to yield ½ maximal inhibition (ND50) of the biological activity of rat IL-1beta (0.2 ng/mL), a concentration of 0.09-0.14 μg/mL of antibody is required.
Final working dilutions must be determined by end user.

Increasing evidence shows obesity and poor metabolic health are associated with cognitive deficits, but the mechanistic connections have yet to be resolved. We studied rats selectively bred for low and high intrinsic aerobic capacity in order to test the association

The relationship between running, glial cell activation and pro-inflammatory cytokines was studied in the context of neuroprotection against ischemic stroke induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). This was investigated in four groups of rats, namely, (1) nonrunner, (2) runner
