General description
EZ-FIT® vacuum manifold is a part of the membrane filtration system. Millipore glass, plastic or stainless-steel filter holders can be fitted with standard No. 8 perforated stoppers over holder outlets. The manifolds are easy to operate and maintain. They prevent biofilm formation, which avoids false-positive results during contamination tests. The design of the 2-way valve prevents accidental touching of the filtration head while opening or closing the valve. The liquid back-flow from the vacuum system is avoided by the check valve. The low height design offers increased comfort for using in laminar flow hoods.
Application
EZ-FIT® vacuum manifold is used as a vacuum pump accessory to filter the test samples for general microbiological analysis, bioburden testing (pharmaceuticals, food, and beverage) and water monitoring. It supports the filtration of one test sample.
